Anapa
The city is located at the Black Sea coast of Caucasus, on a high north-east coast of Anapa bay, it is surrounded by spurs of the Main or Divide Mountain Ridge of the Large Caucasus, in 160 km to the west of Krasnodar and in 52 km to northwest of Novorossisk. The climate of Anapa is moderately wet and warm with a lot of sunny days, long hot summer and mild winter. The resort disposes fine sandy and pebble beaches with gently sloping bottom, comfortable for swimming. Sandy beaches provide a vast stretch of uninterrupted coastline up to 40 kilometers. The resort is famous for its curative mineral springs and rich deposits of healing mud.
Today Anapa is of the most attractive and perspective resorts in the South of Russia of federal importance.
