VDNH, which means the Exhibition of Achievements of the National Economy, literally was designed to demonstrate the best accomplishments of various Soviet industries. Being an enormous showcase initially, it transformed into a large recreational center with beautiful fountains all around the place, Soviet-style monuments, and a famous Space Museum dedicated to the exploration of space and science-fictional ideas of the future. Another spot for space lovers is a Space Pavillion, which looks like a temple and contains space stations and rockets simulator. Besides the cultural sights, you will find here street food and souvenir pavilions selling treats and goods from all over the world.
