Built in 1973 and reconstructed in 1997, the Russlandia Polyarnye Zori Hotel now is one of the best hotels in Murmansk. In 2000 it was awarded as the "Best service of Murmansk region". The hotel is situated in the city center and has a wonderful view of the Kola Bay. The drama theater, many banks, science institutions, two sports stadiums, the Ice palace, art museums and the city exhibition center are located near the hotel.
