The Volgograd Hotel is centrally located not far from the railway station and the Central Embankment of the Volga River. The history of the hotel building dates back to 1890 year, when rich merchant Voronikhin built a 3-storey hotel which was called "Stolichnye nomera" on the main square of the city. After the II World War the hotel was totally rebuilt. The modern hotel welcomed the guests from 1995. In 2001 the hotel became the part of the "Best Eastern Hotels" chain.
