Pereslavl, a district center of the Yaroslavl region, is located 124 km south-west of Yaroslavl on the shore of Lake Pleshcheevo at the point where the Trubezh flows into it.
How to get there from Moscow: by car by the Yaroslavskoye shosse.
You can get there by bus as well.The bus station is located near the metro station Shchyolkovskaya.
Pereslavl-Zalessky boasts the only fancy work factory in this country producing laces and plain work. The factory was founded in 1916 by the German manufacturer A.Golberg who used and modernized the local handicrafts which became the base of a cotton and mechanized stitch-worked embroidery factories.
