Day 2 (27 December, Monday) Have a breakfast in your hotel 10:00 – 14:00 Standard city tour + St. Isaac’s Cathedral (by car) After your breakfast, board your bus and enjoy a panoramic tour of city's major highlights. You'll be taken with an amazing variety of magnificent palaces, squares, and bridges in "Venice of the North" as St. Petersburg is often called. During your tour you will visit St. Isaac's Cathedral, one of the best Russian cathedrals and one of the most popular museums in Saint Petersburg. Undoubtedly, you will fall in love from the first sight with one of the most charming cities in Russia and Europe. The driver and tour guide will pick you up from the lobby of your hotel Free time Evening comes and you are free to enjoy the balance of the day the way you want – you may try some Russian cuisine, or just have a stroll in the bustling streets of the city center all lit up by Christmas lanterns getting ready to meet the New Year. Optional activity: Folk Show "Feel Yourself Russian" The show is comprised of the bright performances of Saint Petersburg professional folk musical and dance ensembles. Divided into two parts the show lasts for about two hours. In the intermission Russian snacks and beverages are served. Day 3 (28 December, Tuesday) A breakfast in your hotel is sure to bring you the good mood for the day to come! 10:00 p.m. – 14:00 p.m. Guided tour of the Hermitage Rejoice at the closeness to pure art, history and elegance, all in one museum. The Hermitage boasts the largest collection of paintings in the world, so be careful not to lose your guide in the labyrinth of this astounding palace. Day 4 (29 December, Wednesday) Have a breakfast in your hotel 10:00 a.m. – 15:00 p.m. Pushkin: Catherine Palace and Park (by car) Tsarskoe Selo is famous for its marvelous Catherine Palace and park, which is a very romantic place for walking, especially in winter, when the huge lawns and neatly cut trees are covered with snow. Many historical films, dedicated to Russian history and tsars, were shot in the interiors of the palace and other sights of Tsarskoe Selo. Highlights:
![]() Pushkin, a small town and one of the most picturesque suburbs of Saint Petersburg is situated 24 km to the south from the Northern capital. Before the October Revolution it was the main summer residence of Russian emperors. Till 1918 the town was called Tsarskoye Selo (literary - "tsar's village"), then it was renamed Detskoye Selo ("children's village"), and since 1937 it bears the name of great Russian poet Alexander Pushkin.
