The history of the Izmailovo Hotel complex is closely connected with the history of Moscow. In 1980 Moscow was chosen as the center of the realization of the Olympic Games. This was the large honour for USSR, and at the same time, the huge responsibility. Moscow expected the large inflow of the foreign sportsmen, fans and reporters attracted with entertainment games and competitions of the central sports event of the year. The visitors and participants of the Olympics, XII World festival of youth and students, Games of good will, spartakiad and many other measures were hospitably accepted in the Izmailovo. And in due course the hotel complex became one of the symbols of Moscow, the rich and hospitable capital of the USSR.

Totally there are 7500 rooms in the complex. The 30-storeyed Gamma and Delta blocks only comprise 1972 comfortable rooms.

First Class The total area is 21 sq.m. The First Class room is also a standard hotel room equipped with Romanian furniture of high quality (the main difference from the Business room). The rooms have either one bed (single), or two twin beds (double), or one king-size bed (double). The lavatories are equipped with modern sanitary engineering and a stationary hairdryer.

First Class Luxe The total area is 42 sq.m. 2 renovated rooms (separated bedroom and living room) and a mall vestibule or hall, equipped with Romanian furniture of high quality (the main difference from the Business Luxe room). All the rooms have one king-size bed. The lavatories are equipped with modern sanitary engineering, a stationary bidet and a hairdryer.
