The Radisson SAS Royal Hotel is a new hotel, situated in Nevsky Prospekt, the main boulevard of St. Petersburg. The hotel is located in the heart of the city, in its historical and business district, within walking distance of all the major attractions such as the State Russian Museum, the Hermitage and a short drive from the Mariinskij Theater. The hotel boasts 64 luxurious rooms including 17 suites designed to ensure your visit to the Northern capital of Russia as comfortable and productive as possible, whether you come on business or pleasure. Dating from 1730, the hotel's building has a colourful history and was thought to be one of the first erected in this part of the city. So it witnessed cultural and major public events, revolutions and wars. The original interior was demolished, but the unique facade has been preserved, retaining over 200 years of history.
